Wild, pure, unadulterated forest honey. Our honey is harvested fresh from the forests of Bukidnon and has a distinct and complex sweetness with a tarty finish.
Origin Story
Our wild honey is collected from the forests of Northern Mindanao and the reforested areas of Bukidnon. We are partnered with a community of dislocated families from Marawi who made it their source of livelihood to maintain these areas and collect a sustainable amount over time.
The honey is pure wild honey. It is not adulterated with sugar, molasses, or cultured honey. It has a golden color and will not not separate into layers of adulterants. It is very viscous and has a sweet aroma.
The honey we supply has the distinct taste of the flowers in season in the forest. The current inventory was taken from flowers of “toog” or rosewood and is collected from the bee know as the “Bakeke”, a large bee with white stripes native to the Bukidnon region.
